After decades of neglect, residents facing daily health hazards are once again agitating city officials to improve the area’s infrastructure and their quality of life. No matter the outcome, they are determined to imagine a better future for themselves.

Directed and produced by Jenny Catherall, Big Party on the Other Side is a short documentary film that follows Rosalee Grable as she comes to terms with her impending death and plans for her burial on Hart Island, a mass grave where New York City’s unclaimed, unidentified, or indigent are laid to rest.
